ラグビースクール時代に始まり、各年代、各チームでキャプテンを務めるリーダーシップを持つ。フッカーのスペシャリストで、スクラム、スローイングとも精度か高い。日本代表8キャップのうち7戦は途中出場も、2017年のアイルランドとの第2テストでは先発。
He’s served as captain for multiple teams since he attended rugby school as a chid. As a hooker, he possesses high leadership skills, is strong in the scrum and is an accurate thrower. He took part mid game in 7 out of 8 Japan caps, but was starting line-up for the 2nd test match against Ireland in 2017.
