鋭い加速と強靭なフィジカルで防御網を切り裂く。NTTコムやサンウルブズでの活躍から、RWC2019への日本代表スコッド入りを期待されたが、右下腿骨骨折の重傷に泣いた。4度の手術を経て、今季開幕前の練習試合で1年半ぶりに復帰。悲願の代表入りを果たした。
Shane can cut through defense with his sharp acceleration and physical strength. Having played for NTT Communications ShiningArcs and Sunwolves, he was expected to make the Japan national squad for RWC 2019 but had to give up due to serious lower right leg fracture. He made his long-awaited appearance as a Japan national squad member this year.
