日本人選手の SHとしては大柄も、ハイテンポな球さばきにも対応可能。所属するキヤノンでコンビを組む田村優とのコンビネーションもとれている。状況を見て自ら走るプレーも得意で、鋭く前に出てチャンスを作り出す。体格を活かしたタックルの成功率も高い。
Despite being larger than your average Japanese scrum-half, he’s skillful in quick ball handling. He works well alongside Yu Tamura at Canon Eagles and is also good at grasping the game by running and creating opportunities to gain territory. He has a high tackle success rate as he takes advantage of his big physique.
