Japan Rugby Top League Wildcard Tournament
Today will see the below teams play in round two of the Japan Rugby Top League Wildcard Tournament that is in its sixth year in 2015 and it is designed to be a means of entry to the National Championship for sides that finish outside the top four on the final table in Japan Rugby Top League.
TOKYO (Jan. 25) – Panasonic Wild Knights will play Yamaha Jubilo for the 2014-15 Japan Rugby Top League crown and LIXIL Cup, following Sunday’s second TL semifinal.
OSAKA (Jan. 24) – Yamaha Jubilo reached their first ever Japan Rugby Top League final Saturday as they beat Kobe Kobelco Steelers 41-12 in the first of the weekend’s LIXIL Cup semifinals.

OTA, Gunma Prefecture (Dec. 28) – Three tries from Springbok JP Pietersen and two from Japan wing Akihito Yamada saw Panasonic Wild Knights beat Suntory Sungoliath 45-8 on Sunday and regain top spot in the Japan Rugby Top League standings.
