Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 Match Schedule Announced
Following last week’s announcement of the pool groups for Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025, World Rugby have now announced the tournament match schedule. Japan, who are drawn in Pool C will face Ireland in Northampton, in the Midlands and New Zealand in Exeter, on England’s South Coast, in the beautiful county of Devon. Their final pool match against Spain will take place in the north of England in the historic city of York.
Japan’s Pool C Match Schedule

If the Sakura Fifteen are successful in progressing through Pool C to the last eight, they will return to Sandy Park in Exeter to play in either Quarter-Final One on Saturday, 13 September, or Quarter-Final Three, the following day on Sunday, 14 September.
Both Semi-Finals will take place at Bristol’s Ashton Gate Stadium, with SF1 played on Friday, 19 and SF2 on Saturday, 20 September (due to time zone differences, both semi-final matches will take place on Saturday, 20 September Japan Standard Time). The Third-Place Playoff and Final on Saturday, 27 September are set to be a blockbuster double-header at London’s Allianz Stadium, the home of English Rugby.
