Japan Men’s Sevens Team Announced for Hong Kong Sevens

The Japan Rugby Football Union is pleased to announce the Japan Men’s Sevens team for the Hong Kong Sevens, the opening tournament of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series 2023. Taking place from November 4 to 6, the tournament marks the return of one of the world’s most popular rugby sevens competitions, following a two-year hiatus as a result of the global pandemic.

Sevens fans in Hong Kong, and around the world will be delighted to see the return of the Hong Kong leg of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, with the tournament being one of the biggest events on the major events calendar in Asia. Japan have been drawn in a challenging Pool C that includes Sevens powerhouse team and two-time Olympic gold medallists Fiji, along with the USA and Spain.
