The 56th National University Championship: Round Two
In the second round of the 56th National University Championship played over the weekend, Asahi University beat Kyushu Kyoritsu University 49-19 in Fukuoka to progress to the third round.
The intensity picks up in the third round, to be played on Sunday, 15 December 2019, with teams from the major university competitions joining the fray. At the Hanazono Ground in Osaka, Kwansei Gakuin University play Asahi University and Doshisha University play the University of Tsukuba. At the Kumagaya Rugby Ground in Saitama, Nihon University play Kyoto Sangyo University and Teikyo University play Ryutsu Keizai University.
