Singapore Sevens 2018: Day One

The Singapore Sevens 2018 is the eighth leg of the World Rugby Sevens Series 2017-18.

In the pool stage, Japan were in Pool A along with Fiji, Spain and Russia.

In their first pool game on Saturday, Japan lost 45-12 to Fiji followed by a 22-12 loss to Spain later in the afternoon. In the evening, Japan made amends with a 26-19 win over Russia for their first win in Singapore.

Japan finished third in Pool A and will face Wales in the Trophy Quarterfinals on Sunday.
