The 100th Japan High School Rugby Tournament Final Preview

The 100th Japan High School Rugby Tournament reaches its climax on Saturday, 9 January 2021 when current titleholders Toin Gakuen High School from Kanagawa prefecture and Kyoto Seisho High School from Kyoto prefecture face off in the final at the Higashiosaka Hanazono Rugby Stadium in Osaka.

In the semi-finals, played on Tuesday, 5 January 2021, Kyoto Seisho High School beat Higashi Fukuoka High School from Fukuoka prefecture 24-21 while Toin Gakuen High School overcame Osaka Korean High School from Osaka prefecture 40-12 to make it through to their third final in a row.

In what promises to be a thrilling finale to the centenary edition of the tournament, Toin Gakuen High School will be looking for their third title overall, whereas, Kyoto Seisho High School, playing in their first final, will be looking to make history.
