Referees for 2019

A level and A1 level referees are qualified to officiate in international games and all domestic games in Japan. A2 level referees are qualified to officiate in all domestic games in Japan except Japan Rugby Top League matches. Women’s A level referees are qualified to officiate in domestic games under the level of the Japan Rugby Top Challenge League. Sevens A level referees are qualified to officiate in international games under the auspices of the JRFU and all other domestic games.

A level referees (5): Akihisa Aso, Masaya Kato, Shuhei Kubo, Kyosuke Toda and Kimitoshi Shiozaki.

A1 level referees (15): Tomohiro Ogawa, Teruhisa Kajiwara, Tetsuhiko Kawano, Rui Shimizu, Toshimasa Sekiya, Yuki Tonai, Noriaki Hashimoto, Yuichi Machida, Tomoyuki Matsugu, Takeshi Matsumoto, Takuya Arai, Tasuku Kawahara, Yosuke Kimura, Yuji Sasaki and Tomu Tasaki.

A2 level referees (7): Hiroshi Kitamura, Junichiro Tsujihara, Kenta Mitsui, Yoshiaki Sato, Masanori Hashiwaki, Atsushi Yamamoto and Takahiro Yoshihara.

Women’s A level referees (1): Mayumi Takahashi.

Sevens A level referees (4): Suguru Kamamuta, Noriaki Hashimoto, Kenji Koide and Mayumi Takahashi.
