World Rugby U20 Trophy 2017: Day 2 Pool Results

The Japan Under-20 team is participating in the 2017 World Rugby Under-20 Trophy to be held in Uruguay from 28 August to 10 September 2017. The tournament is being held at the Estadio Charrua and Estadio Domingo Burgueno in Montevideo.

There are 8 teams participating at the tournament including hosts Uruguay, Japan who were relegated from the World Rugby Under-20 Championship last year, along with regional qualifiers Hong Kong, Namibia, Chile, Canada, Portugal and Fiji.

After beating Chile 28-22 in their opening game on Tuesday, the Japan Under-20s made it two wins in a row with a 50-12 win over Canada in Montevideo on Saturday. Japan and Namibia face off next Wednesday for top spot in Pool A.
