At the 2017 Women’s Rugby World Cup, the Japan Sakura Fifteens play Australia in their third and final pool game at the Billings Park UCD ground in Dublin on Thursday, 17 August 2017.
Japan went down to France 72-14 in their opening game last Wednesday and then lost 24-14 to hosts Ireland on Sunday and so the Sakura Fifteens are aiming to notch up their first win of the tournament at the expense of the Australians. Australia are in the same situation as Japan as they are also looking for their first win after losing 19-17 to Ireland and 48-0 to France.
