Japan Under-18s Tour to Europe

The Japan Under-18 representative side participated in the 2017 Rugby Europe Men’s U18 European Championship. France hosted this age-grade championship from Friday 7 April to Saturday 15 April 2017.

Along with France, Portugal, Spain, Belgium and Georgia, Japan, Canada and the USA were invited to participate. In the opening round on Friday 7 April, Japan beat Belgium 36-10 and in the following round on Tuesday 11 April, Georgia overwhelmed Japan 42-17. Japan beat Portugal 22-16 in the play-off for third place on Saturday 15 April. France beat Georgia 36-18 in the final.
