The Japan Rugby Football Union is happy to announce that both the Japan National Women’s and Men’s Sevens Teams will take part in the ‘Emirates Invitational 7s’ training camp and sevens tournament in Dubai from March 26 to April 11.
Participating under the name “JAPAN SELECT” both teams will play across four days of competition in April – on Saturday 3rd, Sunday 4th, Thursday 8th and Friday 9th.
The tournament will have a truly international flavor and see some of the world’s best teams. The women’s competition includes six teams with Japan set to play the USA, Canada, Kenya, France and Brazil, while the men’s competition consists of eight teams with Japan to play Canada, Kenya, Uganda, Spain, France, Argentina and Chile
The event brings a welcome return to international tournament play for both teams.
