Singapore Sevens 2018: Full Results

The Singapore Sevens 2018 was the eighth leg of the World Rugby Sevens Series 2017-18.
In the pool stage, Japan were in Pool A along with Fiji, Spain and Russia.
In their first pool game on Saturday, Japan lost 45-12 to Fiji followed by a 22-12 loss to Spain later in the afternoon. In the evening, Japan made amends with a 26-19 win over Russia for their first win in Singapore.
Japan finished third in Pool A and faced Wales in the Trophy Quarterfinals on Sunday. The Welsh had the better of the encounter handing Japan a 28-19 defeat.
Japan then played and beat France 29-14 in the thirteenth place semi-final. In the final, Japan tasted more success with a 31-24 win over Argentina giving them thirteenth place overall in the final standings at Singapore.
