Highly acclaimed for his skills as a no. 10 since his days at Fushimi Technical High School. He played no. 10 at Teikyo
University since his first year and was the driving force that saw the team win their eighth consecutive Japan University Championships during his fourth year in the team. With his skillful control of the game, he was consistently chosen in Panasonic Wild Knights’ starting line-up as a no. 10 this season. He contributed to their victory also as an outstanding place kicker.
