主将として早大を優勝に導いた（2019年度）。リーダー性があり、ストレートかつシャイな性格で慕われるナイスガイ。高校代表はじめ、学生の間にサンウルブズに参戦するなど、この年代トップの経験を持つ。パスさばき、タックルへの積極性もあり安定感も抜群だ。
A nice guy who is well-liked for his strong leadership and straightforward personality, Naoto led Waseda University to victory as captain in 2019. He has vast experience for his age joining the Japan High School national team and Sunwolves whilst at university. He has good passing and aggressive tackling skills as well as outstanding consistency in play.
