Japan Team Announced for HSBC Canada Sevens

The Japan Rugby Football Union is happy to announce the Japan Men’s Sevens Team to play at the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series in Vancouver, from April 16 to 17.

Following a grueling 30 hour trip from Singapore to Canada, the team arrived in Vancouver and immediately began their preparations for this weekend’s tournament. Ryota Kano and Shotaro Tsuoka who joined the squad this week in Canada have come into the team, while Keio University Student, Hibiki Yamada who made his international debut last weekend in Singapore has once again been named in the team.

Japan are set to take on New Zealand, Samoa and Wales in Pool B.
