The 100th National High School Rugby Tournament came to a close on Saturday, 9 January 2021 when current titleholders Toin Gakuen High School from Kanagawa prefecture defeated Kyoto Seisho High School from Kyoto Prefecture 32-15 in the final at the Higashiosaka Hanazono Rugby Stadium in Osaka.

Toin Gakuen High School collected their second title in a row and third overall, as they proved too strong in the second half of the decider for their opponent. Kyoto Seisho High School were playing in their first final, unfortunately, though, there was to be no fairy-tale ending for their gallant performances throughout the tournament.

For Toin, their 32 points came from four tries, three conversions and a penalty goal, while Kyoto Seisho scored two tries, a conversion and a penalty goal for their 15 points.
