Test Matches in 2020

The Japan Rugby Football Union (Chairman: Shigetaka Mori, Minato-ku, Tokyo) has announced that changes are made to theJapan Men’s National Team’s international fixtures originally scheduled in November this year, in response to the recent decision made by World Rugby on the temporary International Calendar for 2020. The further information on the future international fixtures for Japan will be announced as soon as they are determined.

Giving the situation where the spread of the COVID-19 and, after a series of discussion with World Rugby, the Welsh Rugby Union and the Rugby Football Union, the postponement of the following three test matches has been decided because of continued difficulties in securing adequate preparation and safe operation.

– Japan v England at Showa Denko Dome Oita on Saturday July 4th, 2020

– Japan v England at Noevir Stadium Kobe on Saturday, July 11th, 2020
